Located at Manor Farm the sycamore framed timber clad 17th century Tythe Barn is a superb venue for a host of corporate or private occasions.


The barn lends a conducive feel to work or play and with its huge vaulted ceiling and exposed giant sycamore timber beams, creates the most wonderful atmospheric feeling.

The barn will seat 200 guests in a theatre style setting or 120 for a seated meal. The adjoining Long Room is equally characterful where 100 guests can be seated in a theatre style setting or 60 for a seated lunch or dinner.

Adjacent to the surrounding courtyard and gardens is a large field where a variety of outdoor activities and team building events can take place. Archery, Falconry, Clay Pigeon Shooting, duck herding etc are all available

Hamptworth work closely with a selection of outdoor event companies and any request can usually be taken care of.

We will provide menus to suit any occasion from black tie dinners to barbeques in the garden
The house was designed by the architect Sir Guy Dawber,
possibly to the design of the original 1620s house and the gardens surrounding the Lodge are
beautifully manicured even boasting an original English Archery lawn.
