Located at Manor Farm, the sycamore framed timber clad 17th century Tythe Barn is the most wonderful location for anybody wanting a wedding with a true country feel. The barn has recently been restored to create the most terrific atmospheric feeling and with its huge vaulted ceiling and exposed giant sycamore timber beams, the barn will accommodate 180 guests for a standing reception or 120 guests for a seated meal.

The adjoining Long Room is beautifully lit, providing an area of great character for post or pre meal drinks and the garden area surrounding the barn has been designed retaining the rustic feel.

Hamptworth works with an approved list of caterers, all excellent and all committed to ensuring that only the very best of food and service is delivered.

We only operate a limited number of weddings per year at the Tythe barn for which the facility fee is £2,750.00 plus Vat. (2009 - £2,950.00 plus VAT) Bookings are taken on a strictly first come first served basis.

The Tythe barn is not licensed for civil ceremonies.
