Hamptworth provides a stunning location for your wedding venue in Wiltshire. Hidden away on the northern edge of the New Forest National Park, yet so easily accessible from London and more locally Southampton and Salisbury, the house exudes such a warmth and friendliness that is hard to find these days in a house of this size.

Wedding at Hamptworth
Three rooms within the house are licensed for civil ceremonies, the largest of which is able to accommodate 120 guests. Externally, the Summer House in the stunning gardens is also licensed for civil ceremonies. A marriage ceremony may take place within this three sided structure with attending guests seated along the terrace overlooking the beautiful gardens.
100 guests can be accommodated for a wedding breakfast in The Great Hall of the house. With its vaulted beamed ceiling and magnificent organ – the twin of that in Salisbury Cathedral – you couldn’t ask for a more unique and memorable venue.
Smaller parties might appreciate the refined and more intimate atmosphere of the dining room.
For a wedding venue in Salisbury Wiltshire, We are also able to offer the beautiful gardens of Hamptworth as a space for an exclusive marquee reception. Guests may wish to utilise the house for a civil ceremony and then move across to the marquee for the remainder of the day.
